Keri,

When I view your voicethread there is no video or images or sound. Maybe I am doing something wrong, but I have viewed many others. Can you view it?

I was changing my presentation at the time, so it was not linked yet. If you try now, it should work.

I have used VoiceThread with my class and I am having a difficult time figuring out how I can be the creator instead of John (one of my students). He is the first identity on my list. Any suggestions?

Your voice thread addressed one of the hot topics in education right now. Is there enough time to cover all of the standards we have to teach each year in enough depth for students to fully master the concepts before the state test. Many teachers will say that there is no where near enough time. As your voice thread explains that the only way to come close to covering all your standards in depth is to involve technology in some type of project-based learning. It all comes down to a balancing act. I believe each year a teacher teaches they become better at developing projects that incorporate many standards at the same time. Our master's program is teaching us how to use and incorporate a variety of new technologies into our classroom.
